To practice the SBAR technique, we have captured and clipped three oral histories, so that you can extract the relevant information that you might want to communicate to a provider.

There are of course many issues that may be presented in the sound clip. Therefore, it is expected that your SBAR may not match the example. This is intended for practice and to solidify your understanding of the SBAR technique.

- Listen to the case study audio file
- Prepare an SBAR related to a gap in the patient's understanding of his or her health or treatments using the SBAR template
- Compare yours with the example given
